Kimi ni Negai wo

Summary: The story follows identical twin brothers Sora and Toa, and their childhood friend, Iori. (Incidentally, as well as Sora's name meaning 'sky', the twins' surname is Aguni - the same way 'Agni' is said in Japanese). The chapter begins with the three of them watching a meteor shower. Sora wishes for more allowance, and Iori wishes to go to university in Tokyo. Toa, however, says that his wouldn't come true even if he did wish on a shooting star. His wish is 'much closer to home than a star, and yet so much farther at the same time.' (The title of the manga, Kimi ni Negai wo, means 'a wish upon you', btw.) The scene changes to the Aguni household, and Sora and Iori are watching a commercial on TV (the lipgloss commercial with Yuu and Saori from another work, Merrymaking Poolside). Iori asks if Saori is Sora's type, and he replies that she's pretty. Then, Iori asks if Sora's ever kissed anyone. He grows flustered, and answers 'of course not'. Iori seems intrigued by his reaction, and leans in... only to be interrupted by Toa with a kendo sword. Toa tells Iori to go home, and Iori asks if he and Sora are really twins, since Toa 'isn't cute at all'. The Aguni family are in charge of a kendo dojo, and the twins met Iori when he moved from Tokyo as a kid. Iori's father is a semi-famous hotel manager with a lot on his plate, which meant Iori often stayed at the Aguni house growing up, making him like family to them. However, nowadays, Toa and Iori hate each other - since they're both competing for Sora's affection. Sora wishes they would just get along. Toa climbs into Sora's bed for cuddles; he feels whole when he's with him. The next morning, Sora wakes up late, and Toa's already practicing in the dojo before breakfast. When he finds him, he asks why Toa decided to start training using two swords instead of one. Toa says he can't remember, but really, he does: When the two of then were eight, they were attacked by a wild dog. Sora was injured, and Toa was so scared he couldn't protect him, even though he had his sword with him. He decided to start two-sword style so he'd be able to protect Sora better in the future - and Iori is one of the 'insects' he wants to protect him from. Iori and Toa fight over Sora at school, with Iori calling Toa a brocon, and Toa insulting Iori's long hair. Sora asks Toa to stop fighting with Iori since he loves both of them. When Toa ignores this plea, Sora goes off in a huff. Toa decides to at least try getting along with Iori, but changes his mind when he wakes up the next morning to find Iori already invited Sora out. Toa nods off, and wakes up later to find Sora home. Sora gifts him a wristband; all three of them will have matching ones as a charm to help Toa and Iori get along better. Toa's chest hurts with his feelings for Sora, and he tells him he loves him - not as family, but romantically. That's why he gets annoyed when he sees Iori with him. He tells Sora how much it hurts when he sees him with someone else; it hurts so much it feels like he'll die, and he wishes Sora would stop it. So, Sora promises to stop. They have sex, and finally become one. Toa tells Sora the story of why he started learning two-sword kendo. Finally, Toa's wish to be with Sora has been granted - not by a shooting star, but by the boy he loves so much.
